How do I report Employee Retention Credit funds received in 2024?

Employee Retention Credit Funds should be reported as follows: 

  • J. Revenue: Other Federal Revenue - Enter an External Public Annotation explaining the funds are from ERC covering the period of mm/yy to mm/yy
  • K. Operating Expenditures: No entry
  • L. Summary of Operating Expenditures: Enter revenue amount in Total Expenditures - Other Federal Funds data cell to zero out the balance.  Enter the same External Public Annotation explaining the funds are from ERC for the period of mm/yy to mm/yy
