Question Submitted:

For the breakdown of electronic material circulation questions (F6-F-9), how do we report Binge Passes that may be used for a combination of e-books, e-serials, e-audios, or e-videos? The report received from Hoopla does not provide a breakdown.

For Binge Passes that are not broken down by material type, we suggest that libraries report Binge Passes on a pro-rated basis according to the percentage of use by material type across the library's Hoopla's usage.

Scenario: A library has 100 Binge Passes that can be used for either e-audios, e-videos, or e-books or any combination of the three material types. When looking at the entire Hoopla usage for the library, the percentage of usage by material type is as follows: 60% e-books, 25% e-audios, 15% e-videos.  Using this breakdown, the library would report their 100 Binge Passes the following way: 60 e-books, 25 e-audios, and 15 e-videos.
